Gary Chumbley - President and as a director of NITC

Chumbley, a Certified Public Accountant, has served as Senior Vice President of Eagle Management and Trust Company in Houston Texas; President and Senior Trust Officer of Pinnacle Management and Trust Company in Houston, Texas; President and Senior Trust Officer of the Trust and Financial Services Division of Texas Community Bank in Dallas, Texas; and most recently, President and Senior Trust Officer of Guaranty Advisors in Dallas, Texas.

He obtained a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Indiana University and his master’s in accounting from the University of Houston. Chumbley is a former First Lieutenant of the U.S. Army and is a graduate of Infantry Officer Candidate School.

Chumbley holds his Series 65 License, Life, Health and Fixed Annuities Insurance License, as well as his Series 7, Series 63 and Variable Annuities Licenses.

Susan Hammond -  Senior Vice President/Personal Trust

Susan is a graduate of the University of Illinois having received a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. She has worked in all areas of personal trust administration since 1986.  She serves as manager over personal trust administration and is responsible for legal and tax compliance of accounts in the personal trust area. Accounts under personal trust administration include not only private trusts but court-ordered fiduciary relationships, estate administration and custodial accounts.

Susan is also responsible for coordinating personal trust activities with regional offices and the preparation of trust-related company documents.

Mary A. Johns—Vice President & Trust Officer

Mary received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Louisiana State University in Shreveport.  She has 20 years experience in the trust and investment  management field, including personal trust and estate administration, and employee benefits administration.

Mary is a graduate of the Southwestern School of Banking at SMU, Dallas, Texas with a major in Trust.  She also received certification from the Advanced School for Trust Professionals at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.  She received certification as a Chartered Mutual Funds Counselor.

Prior banking experience includes serving as Vice President and Regional Trust Manager for the New Orleans Region of Premier Bank (now Bank One) and as Assistant Vice President and Trust Officer with First National Bank of Shreveport (now Bank One).
